mojax - Mobile AJAX Application Framework

Mojax in action

Unlike traditional AJAX Web Frameworks, mojax Moblets do not run within a browser and are not subject to the availability and quality of a network connection. Also, unlike a web application running on a mobile device, a mojax moblet has access to lower level device features such as Camera API, Push Messaging, Bluetooth, Location Services, Contacts and more.

From my point of view mojax is a great project, which is in private beta at the moment, but really has the potential to become a interesting counterpart to Flash Lite. I’m looking forward to see how this project evolves. Maybe I find time to try it out by myself.

Mobile SEO and Mobile SEM

Apr 25, 2007 in guideline, mobile web

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) will become a important field for web designers and marketers in the next years.

The website www.mobilesearchmarketing.com targets this aspect and provides several tips and guides.

I’m not sure if there is a big difference in SEO and SEM for mobiles or for the “normal” web. IMO this is the same and a good website has to fulfill both.
