mojax - Mobile AJAX Application Framework

Mojax in action

Unlike traditional AJAX Web Frameworks, mojax Moblets do not run within a browser and are not subject to the availability and quality of a network connection. Also, unlike a web application running on a mobile device, a mojax moblet has access to lower level device features such as Camera API, Push Messaging, Bluetooth, Location Services, Contacts and more.

From my point of view mojax is a great project, which is in private beta at the moment, but really has the potential to become a interesting counterpart to Flash Lite. I’m looking forward to see how this project evolves. Maybe I find time to try it out by myself.

The German telco’s Vodafone, T-Mobile and O2 want to bid together for mobile TV licenses. Therefore they sticked together and created a alliance.

Starting from spring 2008 16 channels should be broadcasted in Germany. EURO 2008 should push the start-up and help introducing the service. I’m looking forward how this service will be accepted and how many devices will be available.
