Man mag vom iPhone halten was man will, aber die Bedienung ist revolutionär. Dies war wohl auch Grund genug für die Symbian-Entwickler das Handybetriebssystem Series 60 mit einer Touch Bedienoberfläche zu versehen und dadurch das iPhone-Feeling auch auf S60 aufkommen zu lassen.

Die Oberfläche wird sowohl auf die Bedienung mit den Fingern reagieren als auch mit einem Stylus. Das Video wurde heute auf der Symbian Smartphone Show gezeigt und ist natürlich als Produktvideo zu sehen. Wann es Geräte mit der gezeigten Bedienoberfläche geben wird, ist nicht bekannt. Angeblich ist sie jedoch abwärtskompatibel. Man darf also gespannt sein. Mein Traum wäre ja ein Nokia N95 mit Multitouch. Ich bezweifle aber das es auf S60 so schnell Multitouch geben wird, allein schon aus patentrechtlichen Gründen. Das doch sehr weit verbreitete S60 um diese Funktion zu erweitern ist nach meiner Meinung ein absolut notwendiger Schritt und war auch zu erwarten.
